The Global Learning program at Florida International University gives students the ability to interact with global issues and topics. Throughout the Global Learning  coursework we explore how to talk about subjects and create inclusive and multifaceted solutions to problems. During my international internship, which was my Global Learning Capstone, I was immersed in the Israeli culture and work environment. I was able to come into contact with people from all walks of life and learn about their cultures and countries. My supplemental Global Learning activities included volunteering, mentoring and leadership positions which gave me the ability to become a well rounded individual. Additionally, the support of the staff from the global learning office helped in my personal and professional growth as a global citizen.
