My Curatorial Internship at the NSU Museum of Art took place during my senior year at FIU.

 

This internship allowed me to explore the logistics behind planning and installing exhibitions as well as the archival process of artwork. During my time at the museum, I created condition reports and analyzed the works to fill the reports. I also researched and published artist biographies for the website and assisted with coordinating a potential acquisitions. Later on during my internship, I was appointed assistant curator for a 3D Projection Mapping exhibition taking place at the museum. I assisted with logistics and the creative direction of the exhibition.

 

This experience gave me a very comprehensive look at what it is like to work within the art industry. After the internship, I worked as a contractor for the installation of The World of Anna Sui exhibition.
