This Global Learning course was one of my favorite courses at FIU. This class was structured around site visits at South Florida art institutions and events. We spoke with curators, directors and artists at these site visits. After every visit we would write a blog post analysis and reflection. Additionally, as a part of the course, we were tasked with doing artist profiles, community guides, shadowing and volunteering. This course gave me a very comprehensive look into the art world and the intricacies of creative work. This class was so inspiring that it was a catalyst for a career change to pursue a career that engages me creatively. To explore my work from this course click here.
